Our client is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their growing development team. You'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing existing WordPress and PHP applications, while contributing to the design and build of new features and digital products.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and optimise websites and web applications built with PHP and WordPress.
* Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
* Implement new functionality, integrations, and plugins to improve system capabilities.
* Contribute to backend improvements and performance optimisation.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
* Learn and contribute to projects involving mobile and modern web technologies (training and mentoring provided).
Requirements
* Proven experience in PHP and WordPress development.
* Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general front-end principles.
* Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases.
* Experience with version control (e.g. Git).
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow into mobile or full-stack development.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with modern PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony).
* Exposure to React Native or other mobile development tools.
* Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrations.
