We're looking for a talented Head Chef to lead the kitchen at this well-regarded, independent, Gastropub in South West London, known for its seasonal, ingredient-led menus.
This is a great opportunity for a creative Head Chef to take full control of the food offer, delivering fresh, seasonal and innovative dishes while maintaining strong standards and consistency in a busy, quality-driven environment.
Head Chef Independent Gastropub - Vauxhall
The Role:
• Full responsibility for kitchen operations and team leadership
• Creating and delivering seasonal, menu-led dishes
• Managing GP, stock control, and kitchen performance
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Training and developing a small, dedicated kitchen team
The Ideal Candidate:
• Current Head Chef or strong Sous ready to step up
• Experience in 2 AA Rosette or equivalent would be great
• Passion for seasonal, British produce and menu creativity
• Experience in fresh food, gastropub, or similar environments
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Commercially aware with a good understanding of kitchen financials
