Job Description
* Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ management systems in alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and relevant WHS legislation.
* Conduct site-wide risk assessments, hazard identification, and emergency preparedness planning.
* Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Deliver HSEQ training, inductions, and toolbox talks to ensure workforce competency and compliance.
* Plan and execute internal audits; manage non-conformances and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Monitor and report on HSEQ KPIs and performance metrics to senior leadership.
* Ensure environmental compliance with EPA regulations and maintain sustainability records.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a proactive safety culture and LEAN manufacturing principles.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HSEQ Lead should have:
* Formal qualifications in Health, Safety, Environment, and/or Quality Management.
* Proven experience in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
* Strong knowledge of Australian HSEQ legislation and standards.
* Skilled in audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
* Excellent communicator with a proactive, analytical mindset
* Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
