Supply Desk are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic, inclusive co-educational secondary school in Sittingbourne, currently seeking a vibrant and engaging Teacher of Psychology and/or Sociology for a full-time role starting October 2025, continuing through to July 2026. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to become part of a dynamic and supportive Social Sciences department, with scope to contribute to wider school life.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Psychology and/or Sociology to KS4 and KS5 students.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all learners thrive.
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and a proactive approach to behaviour and learning.
* Contribute to pastoral and extracurricular responsibilities, supporting the school’s ethos.
* Embrace opportunities for professional development and potentially step into a long-term role.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Psychology and/or Sociology at KS4 and/or KS5.
* Full-time availability from October 2025 to July 2026.
* A confident classroom presence with effective behaviour management.
* A proactive, committed attitude, willing to take on additional leadership or pastoral duties.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
* ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are very welcome to apply!
