Job Overview

Permanent and temporary position available

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of student support by raising aspirations and performance and helping to build ambition, confidence and resilience in young people at New College Pontefract.

As a Study Support Tutor, you will provide a high standard of support to individual students, assisting them with their specific care and educational needs. You will help remove barriers and enable students to integrate and adapt to College life.

Confidentiality, flexibility and a supportive and empathetic approach to students are key skills required in this role in order to provide a high standard of support to students. You will also have knowledge, understanding and experience of working with young people in a similar environment and must be willing to undertake further training relevant to the post.
