This is a hands-on role suited to someone with accounts payable experience who is keen to develop within a structured and professional finance environment. Key responsibilities will include: Matching goods received notes and delivery documents to supplier invoices Inputting supplier invoices onto Sage 50 Accounts Processing supplier payments via the bank and allocating payments against invoices in Sage Monitoring and managing the finance/accounts inbox Liaising with internal buyers and suppliers to resolve invoice and payment queries Completing regular bank and supplier reconciliations and resolving discrepancies Maintaining accurate records of expenses and employee reimbursements Assisting with VAT and other indirect tax returns Supporting month-end and year-end close processes Preparing documentation for internal and external audits Maintaining organised electronic and paper-based financial filing systems Essential Criteria 12 years experience in a finance or accounts payable role Experience using Sage 50 Accounts (or similar accounting software) Basic Microsoft Excel skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage deadlines and priorities effectively Strong organisational and communication skills For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQ in complete confidence.
