Overview
Education Personnel are working with a primary school in the NG5 area of Nottingham to recruit a Primary Teacher for a full-time role starting at the end of January 2026. This Primary Teacher position is open to experienced teachers and ECTs seeking a consistent, full class teaching role.
The school has direct access to neighbouring green space, which is used regularly for PE, outdoor learning, and curriculum activities across year groups. Lessons and activities often take place outside the classroom, particularly for sport, science, and topic work. Primary Teachers are encouraged to plan sessions that make use of this space when appropriate, offering flexibility in lesson delivery.
The school follows clear systems for planning, assessment, and behaviour. Staff work within shared expectations, supported by established routines and access to common resources across year groups.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Take responsibility for a class, including assessment and progress tracking
• Use outdoor and practical learning spaces where appropriate
• Differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities
• Work effectively with teaching assistants and support staff
• Communicate with parents and contribute to meetings and school events
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and reviews

• Holds QTS and experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Confident managing a classroom and delivering structured lessons
• Able to meet planning, assessment, and reporting requirements
• Organised and reliable
• Comfortable teaching lessons beyond the classroom setting
