The successful candidate will have responsibility and accountability for the full employee life cycle and will be involved in all areas of the Human Resources function, including day-to-day support, advice and guidance on employee relations, recruitment, training and employee engagement activities. They will work closely with the Head of People & Culture, HR Manager, Business Unit Leads and the Senior Leadership team to implement the company’s HR/People Strategy. On-the-job training will be provided at the beginning of the role.
Responsibilities
* Recruitment
o Preparation of job adverts/management of job boards
o Support the Talent Acquisition Lead with reporting
o Provide operational support to Talent Acquisition Lead as required
* Onboarding
o Create personnel files, complete pre-employment checks and send out New Start packs
o Notify relevant Departments
o Inductions - Carry out Company Induction, coordinate with other departments and support line managers in development of induction plans
o Carry out 3 week check-ins and ensure mid and end probationary reviews are completed and returned to HR
* Leavers
o Notify relevant departments
o Administration of leavers documentation
o Advise payroll of final payments due (holiday balance)
* Health Matters
o Design and implement campaigns aligned to the company’s wellbeing strategy to promote good mental and physical wellbeing among staff
o Provide information, guidance, and advice to employees around topics such as mental health and wellbeing
o Management of Employee Benefits - sourcing suppliers and internal promotion
o Management of Charity donations and fundraising activity
* Employee Engagement / CSR
o Facilitate and collect employee feedback
o Assisting with CSR activities - BITC / volunteering / community engagement
* General
o Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to all staff
o Manage HR inbox - escalation of queries
o Assist with payroll, holiday enquiries and maintain employee records (Dowds App)
o Oversight of Absence Management procedure
