About the role: The HR Coordinator will support the HR Manager at the Highbury Campus by ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the HR department. This role involves handling various administrative tasks related to recruitment & onboarding, employee records and HR compliance. The HR Coordinator will provide first-line HR support to staff by managing the HR ticket system, answering queries and printing staff badges. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the recruitment process, including sourcing, shortlisting job ads, scheduling and attending interviews Leading on onboarding for a cohort of new starters from offer to day one Participate in new starter induction aswell as delivering the HR inductionSupport the HR Manager in maintaining the HR Information System Creating and running basic reports for the HR team and wider management team Taking minutes at investigation meetings and hearings Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures Provide general HR support to staff and address basic HR queries To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: CIPD Level 3 or willing to work towards Evidence of commitment to professional development A good standard of Maths and English Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience of working in a HR environment Diversity and Inclusion: Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of City of Portsmouth College.
