STEM Lead

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated STEM Lead to join one of our universities in Aberdeen with an immediate start.
The candidate will provide leadership and vision to deliver excellent student outcomes, ensure quality assurance and enhancement in line with OES requirements and the Quality Code, and drive curriculum innovation through strong collaboration with the University and network partners.
You will be responsible for leading and supporting your academic team. Reporting to the Head of Curriculum and Progression, you will work closely with senior colleagues and be accountable for achieving contractual progression rates.
Contract details:
* Type: Full Time (37.5 hours) and Fixed Term (until 25/09/2026)
* Salary: Up to £42,318 per annum
* Start Date: ASAP
Essential Criteria:
* Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the University and international partners
* Experience leading in a multi-disciplinary environment and implementing organizational change
* Ability to give constructive feedback with measurable outcomes
* Familiarity with HR duties, including training delivery and recruitment
* Strong organizational and delegation skills to meet tight deadlines
* Experience managing internal communications and conveying complex messages
* Knowledge of international student welfare and cultural sensitivities
* Proficiency in data management and quality assurance processes
* Ability to operate effectively at all organizational levels, including external partnerships
