Forecast & Replenishment Analyst Role Overview We are seeking a commercially minded analyst to support demand planning and stock replenishment activities. This role is responsible for ensuring forecasting accuracy, maintaining system integrity, and supporting product availability across stores, including promotional activity. You will analyse trends, manage exceptions, and collaborate closely with buying and stock teams to optimise performance. Key Responsibilities Forecasting & Demand Analysis * Generate and review demand forecasts in line with trading patterns and business objectives. * Analyse historical sales data to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of forecast variance. * Ensure promotional activity and future trading events are accurately reflected within forecasting systems. * Monitor daily forecast outputs and system notifications, taking corrective action where required. * Work closely with buying teams to manage SKU-level exceptions and product assortment changes impacting demand. Stock Replenishment & Ordering * Create and maintain effective ordering schedules to support availability and operational efficiency. * Place and review orders in accordance with system recommendations and business needs. * Configure and manage system allocations, reviewing forward allocations for accuracy. * Review store-level promotional allocations to ensure correct system integration and coordination with stock control teams. * Identify and resolve non-regionalised or misaligned orders to maintain stock balance. About You * Previous experience in forecasting, demand planning, replenishment, or supply chain within retail or FMCG. * Strong analytical capability with confidence interpreting large data sets and identifying patterns. * Experience using forecasting or replenishment platforms is advantageous. * Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to BI or reporting tools preferred. * Detail-oriented with a high level of data accuracy. * Commercially aware with strong communication skills and the confidence to engage cross-functionally.
