Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Mathematics curriculum to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The role entails fostering a dynamic and inquiry-based learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver inspiring Mathematics lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational philosophy.
* Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Mathematics department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
* Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Mathematics education.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a closely related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
