Drive the development of a small repair facility to ensure growth in turnover and margin. The role will ensure efficient workflows and high-quality repair standards, and you will be working to develop a world-class repairs facility. The Repairs Manager will need technical and logistical knowledge, excellent communication skills, innovative thinking along with a focus on practical delivery.
Responsibilities
* Identify growth strategies and implement operational targets, increasing adoption of our repair service solutions.
* Oversee day-to-day repair centre functions, including intake, diagnosis, repair, quality control, and return of electronic products.
* Audit current processes and work with teams to execute LEAN/Kaizen optimisations to improve processes, cost efficiencies, and customer experiences.
* Work closely with Field Services & Installations Manager to manage a site and field team.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders, including onsite support and proposal development.
* Improve turnaround through effective use and development of operational systems and portals.
* Monitor and report on operational and financial performance, including KPIs, budgets, costs, revenue, and billing.
* Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practice; maintain strong knowledge of repair management and upcoming solutions.
* Act as a sustainability champion within Service Centre Operations, driving initiatives that reduce waste, improve recycling, and support the organisation’s wider environmental objectives.
Qualifications
* Previous Repairs and Installation experience within a service centre repair facility.
* Experience managing a small team.
* Passion to grow a department.
