Job Description
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Enterprise Technology, AI/ML & Data Platforms division, you will be an experienced member of an agile team. Your responsibilities include designing and delivering reliable, high-quality technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will develop, implement, and maintain standards and best practices for AI systems, and implement technology solutions across various technical areas aligned with the company's goals.
Job Responsibilities
* Execute software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot technical issues, thinking beyond routine approaches.
* Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms in sync with systems.
* Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
* Analyze large, diverse data sets to develop visualizations and reports for continuous improvement.
* Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
* Contribute to communities of practice exploring new technologies.
* Support a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
* Collaborate on developing and implementing AI governance standards and policies.
* Research current AI governance frameworks and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* Formal training or certification in system design and practical experience.
* Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
* Proficiency in Python programming.
* Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment, with modern programming and database querying languages.
* Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
* Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
* Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas like cloud, AI, or ML.
* Experience with AWS.
* Experience developing and implementing AI governance frameworks.
* Familiarity with international AI regulations and standards.

* Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
* Exposure to cloud technologies.
