Our team in Ipswich are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join us full time in our Waterfront office! You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our policy holders, acting as their first point of contact to help them get back on the road as soon as possible. Once you’ve passed your probation period, typically 3-months, you’ll be able to work from home two days per week, subject to approval from your line manager. Your working hours will be 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. To support your career progression, we’ll also contribute financially for you to gain your Chartered Institute of Insurance (CIII)! How you'll make an impact You'll be the go-to person for our policyholders, helping them coordinate and manage their repair process and confirm their insurance coverage. Your day-to-day will include the following: Reviewing and confirming new insurance claims Offering outstanding customer service via phone and email for repairs or total loss scenarios Working with different departments in Gallagher Bassett to improve your technical skills, including our in-house law firm, Strata Solicitors About You Previous experience in insurance is preferred, or a demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to building a successful career in the industry You’re a fast learner and able to make sound decisions quickly You’ll be confident using the phone to communicate with our policyholders You work well independently and as part of a team You have attention to detail and can effectively focus on tasks in a fast-paced environment You take pride and ownership of your work and have a ‘can do’ attitude Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
