About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Lead to join our Reports team. This role involves overseeing the reports administration process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of clinical reports, while managing and supporting a team of administrators. The role is based in central Canterbury, Kent (there is no onsite parking). We operate a 7‑day a week service with a core working week of Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑17:00 (30‑minute break) and a 37.5‑hour contract. Candidates will also be asked to work approximately one weekend day every four weeks to provide on‑call management support to the weekend teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Line management of the Reports team, including regular supervision, appraisals, and performance development.
* Oversee daily report workflows to ensure timely completion and compliance with KPIs.
* Escalate issues related to report quality, turnaround times, and clinician input to relevant stakeholders.
* Collaborate with contract coordinators to monitor and audit report performance.
* Respond to escalated queries from the assessment reports inbox.
* Lead on quality assurance checks for formatted reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Input and oversee data entry into spreadsheets and clinical systems.
* Support the Service Manager with feedback, complaints, and service improvements.
Person Specification
* Proven experience of team management, a minimum of 2 years is required.
* Strong organisational skills and proven experience working in a target‑driven or KPI‑focused environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in report formatting and proofreading.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
