Clifton College is seeking an inspiring and values-driven leader to become the next Headmaster of its Preparatory School. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK's leading independent day and boarding schools for pupils aged 3–13.
The Preparatory School, which includes both the Pre-Prep (Preschool–Year 3) and Prep (Years 4–8), sits at the heart of our historic Clifton campus in Bristol. We provide a purposeful, inclusive and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to Aim High, Be Kind and Be Brave.
We are looking for a visible and approachable leader who will work in close partnership with pupils, staff, parents and colleagues across the wider College and Group. The successful candidate will bring strategic vision and operational clarity, together with a genuine commitment to academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care, and the breadth of opportunity that defines a Clifton education.
As a key member of the Clifton College Education Group Senior Leadership Team, the new Head will also play a significant role in shaping the future direction of the wider College. This role would suit either an experienced Head or an ambitious senior leader ready to step into headship.
