 
        Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: HD8 (Kirklees including Skelmanthorpe, Denby Dale, and surrounding areas) Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Supply Salary: GBP85GBP100 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date: Immediate or negotiable About the Role Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a passionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in primary and secondary schools across the HD8 area. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEND including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning activities. Help pupils engage with the curriculum and promote positive behaviour. Support emotional regulation and social development. Liaise with school staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support. Requirements Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEND (school, care, or youth settings). A calm, patient, and empathetic approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, SEN training) are desirable but not essential. Why Work With Prospero?
