Unit & Position Role Unit Function To deliver world-class edu and trg to leaders in order to develop the intellectual edge needed for success on operations and leadership in government. Position Role Plan, prepare and deliver ACSC, undertaking DS mentoring, staff roles and providing SME guidance commensurate with need, meeting quality standard. Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver PDSE, training and assessment for ACSC and associated courses. As a syndicate DS, facilitate post-graduate education, training and assessment of all course members on ACSC in accordance with DSAT. Lead, facilitate, and mentor course member professional development and role model inclusive leadership behaviours. Deliver SME advice and guidance commensurate with sS doctrine and policy Plan, prepare and deliver syndicate activity, to enable course members to understand and critically assess complex issues affecting defence Undertake secondary and additional staff duties to deliver holistic administration, management, development, delivery and assurance of ACSC. Conduct own learning and CPD, ensuring the highest standards of quality and applying relevant learning methods Undertake Division XO, ACSC Delivery Team, policy and wider JSCSC duties as directed. Local Considerations Domestic Personal leave constrained to block leave: 2 weeks at Easter and Christmas, 3 weeks in the summer between courses. Employer Comments MMS must be sufficient to undertake non-op overseas travel, and port and ship visits as part of the course.
