The Role
The role will be Design Manager to lead the Drawing Office team. This role would suit a senior designer with mentoring experience who wants to move to management or, likewise, a Design Coordinator looking for the next step.
As Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of a team of technicians and ensuring projects move smoothly from concept through to construction, on time and to spec.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and manage the drawing office team.

Plan and coordinate design resources across multiple live projects.
*
Ensure accurate and timely production of technical drawings and design documentation.
*
Manage and prioritise workloads based on project deadlines and business needs.
*
Collaborate with project managers, site teams, architects, and subcontractors to ensure design intent and compliance.
About You
*
Fit-out experience is key, with joinery, drylining, or partitions being advantageous
*
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
*
Excellent knowledge of Autocad and Microsoft Suite
*
Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and building regulations.
*
Effective communicator and team player with a proactive approach.
