We are looking to appoint a Teacher of History. This is a role working within the well-resourced History Department. This post will be a rewarding experience for the successful candidate as they will be joining a supportive team which is part of our wider Meridian family of teachers.
The ideal candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status and degree in specialist subject
* Experience of teaching at KS3 to KS4
* Evidence of securing high outcomes from students
* Ability to use IT to support effective teaching and learning.
* Commitment to continuing professional development.
* Effective form tutoring and committed to the importance of pastoral support
* Understand and be a proud advocate of the five values of all Meridian Trust schools
* Believe that students make the best progress when teaching is well-planned and well-delivered

Ely College
Ely College was recently inspected in March 2025 under the ungraded (section 8) framework. Already recognised as "Good" with "Outstanding" features, Ofsted has praised Ely College for continuing to make significant progress since its last inspection.
