Quality Administrator - Part Time

Our established client based in Kettering is recruiting a Part Time Quality Administrator on a permanent basis. You will work as part of a small Quality Assurance and Compliance team and also handle Secretariat services for another department.
The Quality department comprises a small team responsible for implementing and maintaining quality systems across the group of companies, operating at all levels and areas. The team is supported by system coordinators within testing departments. They manage two formal quality management systems: EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012, with additional corporate procedures covering broader areas. The company also holds Secretariat services for UK standards Committee TCI 69, responsible for developing and publishing global standards. The role involves engaging with external stakeholders and internal staff on behalf of BSi.
About The Role
You will be responsible for activities including:
As the Secretariat for TCI 69:
* Arranging meetings and creating agendas
* Taking and circulating minutes and documents via relevant portals and websites
* Reviewing international and European documents, collating comments, and ensuring timely votes
* Liaising with relevant committees
* Attending BSi meetings as required
As a Quality Administrator:
* Assisting with internal audits
* Creating gap analysis documents
* Collating and analyzing monthly statistics
* Coordinating and participating in UKAS visits and scope extension activities
* Managing compliance training, including subscriptions to external platforms and ensuring suitability and branding
* Handling staff conflicts of interest, calibration budgets, customs clearance, and online subscriptions
* Training will be provided as needed
About You
* You are patient, self-motivated, methodical, detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently
* You have a good understanding of statistics, mathematics, and a basic knowledge of physics, with high proficiency in Word and Excel
* Transferable experience will be considered
* Experience with internal Quality Management Systems or testing/calibration laboratories is advantageous
