Harborne Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Spanish for a maternity cover position. The role is full-time, fixed-term for one year, starting in September 2024. The salary is MPS 1-6.

The successful candidate will have:
* A good degree in an appropriate discipline related to Spanish
* A teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong and secure subject knowledge in Spanish
* Knowledge of French up to KS3
* Recent and relevant teaching experience
* Experience with assessment at Key Stage 3 and 4
* An understanding of strategies to improve learning and achievement for all students
* Awareness of curriculum developments in Spanish and French
* The ability to use a range of teaching and learning strategies
