BAM Infrastructure is currently delivering a redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth, and we are seeking an experienced Sub Agent.
Due to the site being a high-security military naval base, additional security checks are required – BPSS level security clearance is necessary. These checks can take up to 8 weeks. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and who have been UK residents for the last 5 years will be considered.

Your mission
As a Sub Agent, your responsibilities will include:
* Managing subcontractors.
* Liaising with Babcock Design and project management teams.
* Leading health, safety, and environmental compliance through method statements, risk assessments, and briefings.
* Managing, supervising, and mentoring section, site, and assistant engineers to ensure high standards and proper record-keeping.
* Maintaining good relationships with RE staff and the supply chain.
* Promoting cost-efficient use of resources.
* Supporting the agent in operating the cost management system, program production, and QF preparation.
* Ensuring timely and proper records for measurement and payment are prepared.
* Implementing BIM technologies as per the project BIM Execution Plan.
* Coordinating with the general foreman for work preparation and resource availability.
* Assisting in procurement of materials, sub-contracts, and plant.
* Reviewing staff performance, development, and training needs, including addressing underperformance.
* Advising the agent of potential commercial or contractual liabilities.
Who are we looking for?
* Degree or HND in Engineering or equivalent.
* CSCS Level - Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager.
* SMSTS certification.
* Successful experience at Section Engineer level.
Desirable qualifications
* ICE Incorporated level qualification or equivalent.
* Experience with TW supervision or in TW environments.
* Experience with RC/marine civils/steelwork/paint systems.
