A well-established, family-run commercial automotive business is seeking a Yardman / Workshop Cleaner to join their team at their Poole site. Operating across multiple locations in the South of England, the company has built a strong reputation for quality service, employee development, and long-term career opportunities.
The Role
Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. Responsibilities include:
1. Keeping the workshop, yard, and tool storage areas clean and organised
2. Deep cleaning workshop floors using industrial cleaning equipment
3. Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of in appropriate recycling areas
4. Supporting vehicle movements within the yard to assist workshop productivity
5. Cleaning courtesy vehicles and steam cleaning commercial vehicles
6. General site upkeep and housekeeping duties
7. Assisting with the collection and return of vehicles for MOT
8. Supporting parts deliveries when required
About You
9. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
10. Reliable and able to work independently
11. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
12. Full UK driving licence required
13. HGV licence is essential
