Position: Teaching Assistant (TA)

Pay Rate: 13-14 £/hour
We are on the outlook for enthusiastic, dedicated Teaching Assistants who can assist and support pupils in their learning and development effectively for the Primary Schools in and across Lancaster who can join us in September.

Job Responsibilities:
6. Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and supporting individual pupil's learning needs.
7. Work with small groups or one-on-one with pupils to provide additional support and guidance.
8. Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
9. Support the planning and preparation of learning activities and resources.
10. Monitor and record pupil's progress and provide feedback to teachers.
11. Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Preferred skills:
12. Passionate about working with children and supporting their educational development.
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
14. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
15. Flexible, proactive, and willing to learn.
Requirements:
16. An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this)
17. Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
18. Excellent planning and organisation skills.

All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education child protection and UK eligibility including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references. A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some of these roles.
