Overview

You have a opportunity to be part of this in the role of Engagement Worker. Doncaster Council are looking for 3 x Youth Engagement Workers to work in the Partnership & Engagement Team. The successful candidates must have experience of working with children and young people in youth work settings, assist in the direct engagement and delivery of activity sessions for children and young people across the city. Responsibilities

* Assist in the direct engagement and delivery of activity sessions for children and young people across the city.
* Be flexible in approach to dealing with difficult situations, work with sensitive and confidential information, and work well under pressure.
* Be flexible with working hours to meet the demands of service users and able to work on average 2/3 evenings per week.
* Undertake other duties and responsibilities within the directorate commensurate with the grading of the post, as required, without changing the general character of the post.


Qualifications and requirements

* Experience of working with children and young people in youth work settings.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, and to handle sensitive information appropriately.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing needs of service users.
