Overview
Filmhouse are looking for a friendly, film-loving Hospitality Assistant to join our Cafebar team. This is a full-time role and requires weekday and daytime availability.
Rate of pay: £13.45 p/h + tronc
Responsibilities
* Deliver bar and table service, process orders, and prepare a wide range of beverages.
* Liaise with kitchen staff and maintain bar cleanliness and presentability.
* Ensure a consistently excellent customer experience for guests visiting the Filmhouse Bar, whether sitting down for a meal, buying a coffee, or purchasing tickets and concessions on their way to see a film.
* Multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of service.
* Support Filmhouse Bar operations by assisting the Food & Berverage Manager and Hospitality Supervisors with various tasks, including opening and closing the bar.
* Maintain and follow safety procedures, deal with waste disposal, and contribute to a clean, safe work environment.
* Contribute to a great customer experience with an understanding of what makes Filmhouse unique.
* Sell tickets to films and events as well as concessions to take into screens, and maintain excellent product knowledge across both areas.
