Apply Now About the role Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a CONTRACTS MANAGER to join our Balvac team to be based in the Midlands or North working on projects throughout the UK. For over 90 years our Balvac business has been delivering innovative structural repair, strengthening, protection and maintenance solutions to sustainably extend the life of our nation's infrastructure. Our clients include National Highways as well as some of the major local authorities across the UK. Whilst our key focus is Transport Infrastructure, we also provide professional services across power, energy, industrial, defence, coastal & marine sectors. With an ever-increasing portfolio and a major expansion planned, we are looking to identify several talented individuals (Contracts Engineers, Site Agents, Project Managers & Specialist Services Engineers) based across the country to join this high-octane energy driven team. What you'll be doing As a Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing the delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality targets and standards Fostering a continuous improvement culture by actively seeking input from all members of the project team Ensuring sustainability targets are achieved Promoting Sustainable Solutions around all operations, particularly those related to efficient management of Waste, Energy and Water Leading effective Community Engagement Plans and Skills programmes Managing the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to manage expectations Ensuring the Company and Divisional procedures and policies are followed by the relevant teams Who we're looking for So, what might we be looking for?
