Loom Talent is supporting the recruitment of a Logistics and Supply Chain Lead for a client in Woking. Our client is a global leader in FMCG. The role is based at the UK HQ with a hybrid working arrangement, including flexible hours and some WFH.
Responsibilities include:
1. Preparation and Verification of Shipping Documentation
2. Oversight and Replenishment Planning
3. Logistics Pricing and Cost Optimization
4. Customs Compliance and Import/Export Coordination
5. Engagement with Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
6. Warehouse and Inter-Office Coordination
7. Administrative Support to Commercial and Finance Teams
8. Supply Chain Risk Management
9. Sustainability and Compliance Monitoring
10. KPI Reporting and Continuous Improvement
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Essential qualifications include a solid understanding of supply chain processes, thorough knowledge of Incoterms, logistics and warehouse operations, international shipping regulations, planning techniques, and experience handling UK imports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required, and experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
Candidates with strong academic backgrounds in Logistics or Supply Chain are encouraged to apply, though this is not essential.
