A specialist independent SEN school, part of a leading education trust, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.
The provision supports children and young people with SEMH, Autism, ADHD and communication needs through a highly personalised and therapeutic approach. Staff work within well-resourced classrooms and alongside experienced clinical teams to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally
* Encouraging engagement and participation in lessons
* Managing challenging behaviour positively and consistently
* Supporting sensory and emotional regulation strategies
* Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources
* Helping create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment

* Experience within SEN, SEMH or care settings
* Positive behaviour management skills
* Resilience and emotional intelligence
* Strong teamwork and communication abilities
* Passion for helping young people achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
