Production Support Engineer We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Production Support Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Lymington. Introduction The Production Support Engineer will be a key member of the Operations team, responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality production through effective process control, equipment readiness, documentation, and staff capability. The role acts as the first point of contact for manufacturing issues and plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement and production culture. Responsibilities * Ensure the shop floor and production staff are equipped with the appropriate tools, documentation, and training to support efficient, high-quality manufacturing activities. * Liaise closely with the Quality & Process Engineer to identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues. * Lead / support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen activities. * Ensure manufacturing equipment (including formers and presses) is maintained and serviced to agreed standards and available for use as required. * Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day manufacturing issues, escalating to the Operations Manager when necessary. * Work collaboratively with Operations to improve layouts, workflows, and overall production efficiency. * Become an active trainer of production skills and support handovers of new products and processes. ...
