Overview
My client is a specialist payroll provider in Liverpool currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to work as part of a fantastic team. You will be responsible for the joint running of 150 client payrolls.
Responsibilities
* Full end to end Payroll processing for a portfolio of clients within an accountancy firm
* Collation and input of all relevant information
* New starters, leavers, benefits, contract changes, sickness absence payments, allowances, maternity, apprentice levy and paternity pay
* To administer SSP, SMP and SPP
* Prepare and distribute payslips, P45s, P60s
* NI, overtime and other deductions
* RTI submissions
* Auto enrolment
* Pension deductions
* Handling queries
* Year end process\'s
* Assist the Payroll Manager with reporting, compliance tasks, and ad hoc projects
Requirements
* 1-2 years of Payroll experience in a client payroll environment
* Strong Legislation knowledge
* Pension & Auto enrolment experience
* Excel including V look up
* Brightpay experience beneficial
* Excellent attention to detail
* Manual calculation ability
* Familiar with confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Benefits and information
* 25,000 to 27,000, dependent on experience
* Hours : 35 per week 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday) Lunch : 1 hour
* Annual leave : 20 days plus bank holidays
