Location: Rochford
The Practice Leecon Way is located in the parish of Rochford, it has a practice with a countryside feel. The practice is set across two small surgeries and is a close-knit surgery working alongside The Practice Northumberland. Leecon way is a ten-minute walk from the local train station and is a ten minute walk away from Rochford Hospital. We are also a short walk from the town centre and have nurseries and schools close by, the practice also benefits from on street parking and onsite. Our team consists of dedicated clinicians and fully skilled Reception and admin teams, along with experienced practice management. The practice has an established PPG group.
Are you a Prescriber looking for an exciting new opportunity? The Practice Leecon Way are looking for 30 hours per week.
You will be an autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other health care professionals.
Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care.
A non-medical prescriber, working ideally within primary care with a sound knowledge of long term and minor illness conditions.
It is preferred that the ideal candidate is a level 7 (Msc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or an MSC course to ACP status may also be considered.
The post holder is an experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. In order to work at this level NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met.
This role offers fantastic career progression as Lead ACP/ANP across sites, supporting and developing the Nursing and AHCP teams as the practice grows
You will be able to learn and develop your skills alongside the clinical team with support and guidance from our Regional Nurse Manager and Regional Medical Director.
To be considered for this exciting role you must have:
Experience in a Primary Care setting
NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice or working towards Non-medical prescriber
