About the role
We are seeking a Merchandiser to join our Retail Merchandising team. This full-time, field-based role involves working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The position covers the South East, including Surrey, Hampshire, and Buckinghamshire, with possible travel to other regions to support the wider team.
We offer a car allowance between £5K - £8K, depending on mileage, and the option of a fuel card.
You will be responsible for
* Collaborating with Regional Development teams to ensure stores are merchandised according to planograms and are ready for opening.
* Creating and placing retailer orders to maintain stock availability during merchandising programs.
* Installing store imagery and POS materials aligned with current promotions.
* Working with retailers and store teams to implement merchandising best practices.
* Ensuring policies, processes, and procedures are followed to maintain site health and safety standards.
* Contributing to regional category initiatives.
* Managing additional resources, such as agencies, if required outside of Booker’s team.
You will need
* Willingness to travel regularly to applicable sites; please inform us of any support needed for travel arrangements. A car allowance will be provided.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience in a similar merchandising role is preferred.
* Knowledge of EPOS systems, Green Tickets, Buying, and Delivery Schedules would be advantageous.
* Project management experience is highly desirable.
