Overview
Project Engineer - capital projects - manufacturing at TieTalent. Responsibilities
* Work on a range of capital and plant improvement projects from development through to execution and close-out.
* Manage full project life cycle including project evaluation and justification, contractor management and reporting on all site current and pipeline projects.
* Collaborate with departments across the site (process engineering, maintenance, purchasing) to improve site efficiency and capability.
* Engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across various specialisms.
Qualifications
* BEng/BSc or equivalent in an engineering or technical discipline (mechanical, electrical or chemical) or related field.
* Experience as a project engineer in a manufacturing setting with a breadth of experience covering production, maintenance and facilities related projects.
* Experience coordinating civil, structural, mechanical, process development and materials handling projects (or a selection of these).
* Familiarity with 3D CAD packages.
* Experience in contractor selection, liaison and management, including permits to work.
* Strong problem solving skills, root cause analysis and Pareto analysis techniques.
* Ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across a variety of specialisms.
* Great prioritisation, methodical, logical and well-organised, adaptable to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
* Collaborative team player who works well in a supportive, close-knit team.
