This role is based in Leeds or London, within the Technology Division, which supports all business areas with information and system technology services. The division is structured to reflect the technology delivery lifecycle, ensuring information security and effective project execution.
Role Overview
The position is within Technology Strategy & Architecture (TSA), responsible for aligning IT change with business priorities and defining the technical architecture. The team includes Business Analysts who provide detailed analysis to deliver optimal business outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
1. Educated to degree level / ISEB / BCS BA Diploma certified, IIBA certification (e.g., CBAP) or equivalent
2. Proven experience as a business analyst, preferably within financial or regulatory sectors
3. Experience with full software development lifecycle, Agile and Waterfall methodologies
4. Ability to mentor others on Agile principles
5. Knowledge of operating models and business change projects
6. Excellent stakeholder management skills
7. Ability to produce high-quality outputs from high-level to detailed specifications
8. Experience with BPMN 2.0, business process analysis, and process improvement
9. Strong problem-solving, influencing, and independent judgment skills
10. Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques
11. Experience managing complexity and change impacts
12. Strong business insight and facilitation skills
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of business architecture principles
* Data management and migration experience
* Supporting scaled Agile in Waterfall environments
* Certifications in Agile, DevOps, or Project Management
