Business Development Manager (Base salary commission) Job Summary: The Business Development Manager role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing inbound sales inquiries, and supporting the outside sales and operations teams to drive revenue growth across our port-centric 3PL services. Key Responsibilities: Support annual sales targets based on company growth expectations Fully qualify new business opportunities to prepare accurate rate quotes for our transactional business Obtain quotes from required vendors/subcontractors Respond to inbound inquiries from prospective clients, providing timely and accurate information Maintain a strong understanding of CLG’s service offerings including warehousing, transloading, drayage coordination, and value-added services Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new customers Qualifications & Experience: Proficient with Microsoft Office products and enterprise software solutions including CRM Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with a drive to exceed goals Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Team player with a customer-first mindset Work Schedule: Days: Monday through Friday Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Travel may be required.
