Role Summary
To manage and optimize all internal logistics processes related to the storage and despatch of finished products to Shotton Mill customers. This includes overseeing warehousing operations, inventory accuracy, mobile plant, material flow and loading of outbound vehicles to support best in class customer service in a cost-efficient, safe, and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safety First – Responsible for Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management within internal logistics operations, ensuring minimal risk to all stakeholders. Leads by example by strictly following site safety rules and promotes a strong safety culture where near-miss reporting and continuous improvement are actively encouraged and supported through effective corrective actions.
1. Finished Goods Warehousing - Oversees the day-to-day operations of the automated warehouse system, ensuring safe access controls, optimal facility utilisation, and high standards of presentation, housekeeping, and damage prevention. Maintains accurate inventory through effective use of warehouse management systems, supporting this with regular cycle counts and audits.
