* About the Job Role
* As an Electrician, you will undertake electrical maintenance and installation work as required by Chargehand Electrician, which will include, but not limited to, data recording, inspection and testing, site surveying and installation of electrical street furniture.
You will be a time served electrician with 2 years experience or achieved approved electrician status and will have the following skills:
o fault finding
o testing and inspection of electrical circuits
o steel wire armoured cable glanding, cable jointing
o good verbal and written communication skills.
You will have qualifications as outlined as minimum requirement by SJIB, current Edition of IET Regulations certificate, valid ECS card and evidence of MEWP (Articulated Boom) training or willingness to successfully complete training.
You will have the ability to work within a team and on your own initiative. You will also have the ability to participate in a standby rota/respond to callouts, work overtime and out with normal working hours when required.
A Category C1 Driving Licence or equivalent entitlement to drive in Great Britain is essential or willingness to achieve C1 entitlement.
You will be paid:
Standby Payment - £149.72 per week when on standby.
