Job title: Senior Employment Solicitor (Director or Partner)
Location: Oxford
Salary: £100k-£180k - depending on experience
PQE Level: 8+
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time
My client, a UK Top 50 firm, is seeking to appoint a senior Employment Lawyer at Director or Partner level as part of a strategic expansion of its employment offering in Oxfordshire and the wider region.
The role encompasses a high-quality mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, including complex tribunal and High Court litigation, discrimination and whistleblowing, executive exits, workplace investigations and more. The advisory practice includes senior contracts, policies, restructurings, TUPE, redundancy programmes, workforce strategy and employment support with corporate transactions.
This is a rare opportunity to shape and lead a high-profile employment practice within a growing office on behalf of a market-leading firm. In return, you can expect one of the finest remuneration packages available in the Southeast, and the chance to be a significant strategic contributor and assist in the team's ambitions and goals. Overall, an ideal role for senior layers who have perhaps reached the ceiling in their current position and are seeking the chance to make a role their own. You will be provided with the most up-to-date tools, infrastructure, and backing to realise your own and the firm's ambitions.
