The Deployment Manager will support the delivery of the Federated Data Platform programme by working closely with relevant workstreams to ensure deployment plans, products, and training requirements are fully met. The postholder will report to the Senior Deployment Manager and will deputise where required.
Role Context
This role sits within the Data and Analytics Directorate and supports the roll-out of FDP products across the organisation. The Deployment Manager will ensure that appropriate training and user support are in place to enable teams to use data tools effectively and improve outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead a team within Data Services, ensuring a high-quality, coordinated, and professional service that meets all relevant NHS, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
2. Engage proactively with subject matter experts, workstream leads, programme colleagues, and suppliers to maintain effective programme delivery.
3. Analyze data and project reports to ensure work streams are on schedule, escalate serious risks, and support risk mitigation.
4. Communicate clearly and coordinate with various audiences, drafting correspondence and managing specific tasks, reporting, and analysis across projects.
5. Plan, design, and deliver high-quality training activities in various formats to develop user skills and knowledge.
6. Identify user requirements, plan content, and build scripts for digital content.
7. Explain and demonstrate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, focusing on business benefits.
8. Set up reporting frameworks, gather data, and report outcomes to inform product and service improvements.
9. Identify best practices, develop governance procedures, and communicate these to relevant users.
10. Review and manage platforms to ensure a high-quality user experience.
11. Develop and implement systems/processes for proper information management and sharing best practices across teams and organizations.
12. Work across the Data and Analytics division to ensure patient and user requirements are met and exceeded.
