Overview
We're looking for a dynamic Shop Manager to lead our retail team in driving sales and profitability, managing stock effectively, and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll be responsible for analysing financial performance, implementing strategies to maximise income—including Gift Aid and community engagement—and maintaining high shop standards. The role involves overseeing administration, security, health and safety, and ensuring compliance with Shaw Trust policies. You'll also recruit, train, and motivate both staff and volunteers, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that champions personal development and community impact.
Responsibilities
* Lead the retail team to drive sales and profitability, manage stock, and deliver outstanding customer service.
* Analyse financial performance and implement strategies to maximise income, including Gift Aid and community engagement.
* Maintain high shop standards and oversee administration, security, health and safety, and compliance with Shaw Trust policies.
* Recruit, train, and motivate staff and volunteers; foster a supportive and inclusive environment that supports personal development and community impact.
* Flexibly work Monday to Sunday and support in Shaw Trust shops across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
