SEN Teacher Needed!

Reed Education are proud to be working with a specialist education provider to recruit a passionate and creative SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team.
This role is based across two adjoining sites and offers the chance to deliver a truly personalised, multi-sensory education for learners aged 7 to 19. About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver innovative, engaging and flexible learning experiences tailored to each learner’s needs, abilities, and interests. You will work with small groups, and on occasion support other Mansfield sites when required.
Your teaching approach will be centred on building confidence, developing emotional resilience, and supporting learners academically, socially and personally. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure every young person feels safe, included and motivated to progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and review personalised learning programmes, including schemes of work and creative lesson plans
* Use multi-sensory and varied teaching strategies to maximise engagement
* Support learners in voicing their needs and participating in decisions about their education
* Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and risk management standards are always met
* Assist Learning Managers with learner profiles, SEN information, assessments, progress tracking and reports
* Contribute to subject-specific curriculum development and improvement projects
* Maintain accurate documentation, including reports for commissioning bodies (e.g. EHCP reviews, transition planning)
* Engage in ongoing professional development and keep up to date with SEN best practice

Skills & Experience Required
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* SEN teaching experience (preferred)
* Relevant Level 6 qualification
* A strong understanding of personalised learning and holistic education
