We are delighted to support a respected public‑sector organisation in recruiting a Building Maintenance Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of maintenance and compliance projects across a varied and significant property portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Deliver building maintenance projects from inception to completion
* Manage contracts and project costs effectively, including valuations, financial reporting and agreement of final accounts
* Contribute to feasibility assessments and support the development of wider capital and maintenance programmes
* Maintain rigorous health and safety standards, ensuring robust risk assessments and safe systems of work are in place
* Monitor project progress using internal works management systems and report performance against KPIs
* Inspect and evaluate contractor workmanship, ensuring quality standards are met and corrective actions are taken where required
* Oversee insurance‑related works efficiently and in line with organisational processes
* Attend stakeholder, client and site meetings, providing updates and maintaining strong relationships
* Ensure all project documentation‑including certificates, final accounts‑is completed and submitted on time
* Manage customer and stakeholder queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally
Qualifications
* Construction or property related qualification, HND or degree
* Some experience in Maintenance, Facilities or Property experience
* Well organised, ability to communicate well with various stakeholders
