Mobile Multiskilled Engineer needed. Mobile Role covering Otterbourne & surrounding area. Company van provided.
Working hours: Full time (08.00am to 17.00pm)
General Overview:
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive call outs on a wide variety of Mechanical and Electrical Buildings Services Engineering plant, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities, fire alarm testing and participating in an out of hours call out rota.
Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and CAFM.
Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
Ensure that all relevant paperwork / CAFM is completed regarding PPM
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are always prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
To develop a good working relationship with all members
Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.
To arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
Ensure CAFM system, e.g. PlanOn, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
To carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
The position will require you to provide engineering support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.
Carry out equipment checks and ensure tools are calibrated and fit for purpose.
Working to high standard of Building Maintenance, we require a fully reliable and competent Multiskilled Engineer who can work on own initiative, within a team or oversee subcontractor's, producing high quality reports on their findings and work.
Desirable Qualifications or Required Experience:
Electrical
1. Base Electrical Qualification C&G Part A and B OR C&G 236 Pt 1 & Pt 2
2. C&G 2330 Level 2 and 3 OR AM1 & AM2 OR C&G 2360 Pt1 & Pt 2
3. 18th Edition C&G 2382 - 18
4. C&G 2391 or 2394/2395
5. Electrical Competency NICEIC Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification.
Mechanical
6. BTEC Level 3 Certification in Mechanical Engineering OR
7. BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR
8. BTEC Level 3 in HVAC
9. C&G 6188 Level 2 Heating and Ventilation OR
10. C&G 7188 Level 3
11. Competent Person Mechanical and Pressure Systems
Experienced in Plumbing system Maintenance and fault rectification.
A drivers license and DBS is essential.
£21.38ph salary on offer and it's contract work for 3 months.
