We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker to join the South Gloucestershire Council in the Adults Neighbourhood department, working to assess the risks and needs of adult service users, young people in transition and their carers, and planning and implementing the application of resources. This is a hybrid role that requires work in the field, the office and the field.
This role is advertised as £30.20 p/h, DoE
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Performing care assessment and designing packages of care
2. Ensuring all service users have equal access to relevant community services
3. Reviewing and carrying out Mental Capacity assessments
4. Dealing with safeguarding issues and concerns
5. Handling a varied and heavy caseload
6. Working within a busy environment with high case turnover, without compromising quality
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
7. Social Work qualification
8. Social Work England registration
9. Post-qualification work experience is desirable
