Housing Management Disputes Solicitor | NQ-3 PQE | Birmingham
We are working with a nationally recognised law firm seeking a Housing Management Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of housing litigation matters for a high-quality client base, within one of the largest housing practices in the UK.
The Role
* Advise social landlords on a wide range of housing management matters.
* Conduct possession proceedings and injunction applications.
* Advise on anti‑social behaviour matters and related litigation.
* Handle cases involving the Equality Act 2010 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
* Advise on breach of tenancy, succession disputes and service charge issues.
* Act on social housing fraud matters.
* Manage access injunctions relating to gas and electrical safety.
* Work collaboratively within a multi‑office team on varied and often sensitive matters.
The Team
The Housing Management team is one of the largest and most established in the UK, advising a broad client base including registered providers, local authorities and other housing providers. The team operates nationally and continues to see significant growth, with a strong pipeline of high‑quality work.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified solicitor (NQ‑3 PQE) with experience advising social landlords.
* Experience in housing management and litigation matters.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to manage client relationships.
* Strong drafting and analytical skills.
* A proactive, team‑oriented approach.
* Demonstrable interest in the social housing sector.
