Role summary
Are you an experienced B2B sales professional with a strong understanding of the Solar PV market? Our client, a trusted name with a proven track record across multiple industries, is expanding its commercial Solar PV division and seeking a Sales Manager to lead business development and accelerate growth. This is an opportunity to shape a key part of a growing business — with genuine autonomy and long-term progression.
Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial sectors
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key decision-makers
* Prepare and present tailored proposals to meet client needs
* Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets
* Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
* Provide market insight to help shape sales strategy and direction
What You’ll Need
* Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the Solar PV or wider renewable energy sector
* Strong commercial acumen and a consultative sales approach
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to succeed
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to clients across the region
* Ability to commute to Blackburn (hybrid working available)
The Package
* £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary
* Uncapped bonus scheme
