THE ROLE
The Client Service Specialist will work as part of the team to coordinate the production of appropriate and accurate marketing materials for client and sales engagement activities across business streams and territories. This includes factoring applicable contractual information, regulatory environment, and compliance and business rules. Under supervision, the Client Service Specialist will work alongside senior members of the Investment and Distribution teams to ensure all materials and sales engagement activities are compliant. They also need to develop a thorough understanding of the products and vehicles at MFS to effectively assist in relationship management efforts. Enhance client relationships by providing outstanding service.

What You Will Do

* Coordinate and assist sales and relationship management personnel within assigned territory, including coverage for both local and satellite offices. Support coordinating all details, logistics, and materials relative to client meetings and due diligence visits. Under close supervision, assist follow through on all problem resolution and information requests associated with the meetings.
* Under supervision, be a point of contact for sales and service support activities and help providing information on various topics, including internal data requests, competitive information, sales and service materials, product information, and marketing materials.
* At the direction of their manager, performs routine assignments, using existing guidelines. Work with the field team to coordinate the creation, production and distribution of accurate, compliant, customized sales/marketing presentations; and client review books for the full spectrum of MFS products. Identify and correct data inconsistencies and recommend process improvements to increase efficiencies and improve overall service.
* Work with automated systems to autonomously pull together materials, understanding and applying business and regional compliance rules as required.
* Support field teams to answer client and prospect inquiries; properly assessing their needs and directing them to a solution. Determine the appropriate information to send and the urgency of the request. Ensure satisfaction with service was received. Escalate requests as required.
* Utilize CRM database as central resource to maintain and proactively track all appropriate upcoming meetings, calls, contacts, and activities within assigned coverage. Maintain accurate metrics/statistics around meetings identifying main trends and elevate any issues encountered regularly; Generate regular and custom reports as requested. Ensure all daily data check reports are reviewed, and appropriate action is taken. Escalate as required any unresolved items.
* Supports the Client Service Managers to establish and maintain client reporting deliverables. Ensure that all information produced is appropriate for publication and distribution, dependent on audience and regulatory environment. Work on monthly and quarterly due diligence reporting and other customized client reporting requests.
* Support the team on the development of workflow procedures relative to meeting, mailings and other sales and relationship management functions. Communicate issues or trends relative to workflow, operational, or compliance issues that arise in course of job responsibilities.
* Act as a training resource for the new and junior members of the team. Demonstrate continued development through interactions with Senior Leaders/Managers.
* Assist with external events such as roadshows, product-focused events and industry conferences. Coordinate all administrative details with event planning and external vendors working within department budgets; coordination and production of all materials. Partner with external attendees to MFSI sponsored events. Coordinate regular and specialized mailings to established contact lists. Determine customized lists for targeted and time sensitive communications.
* Assumes additional responsibilities as requested

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or experience.
* European language required - preferred Italian
* Proven ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with great attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
